Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a unique form of assisted stretching, unlike anything you have ever experienced before! An assisted form of stretching that is performed on a massage table with comfortable straps used to stabilize the limb or part of the body that is not being worked on, thus facilitating complete relaxation of the person being stretched and enhancing the effectiveness of the actions of the therapist. It is safe for all ages and flexibility levels.
FST has a proven track record of 20 years of enhancing elite and professional athletic performance while decreasing your chance of Injury and improving recovery.
Fascia is a flexible connective tissue structure that attaches under your skin and covers your entire body. Much like a spider web holding everything together. When fascia is tight your movement and potential is restricted resulting in average sporting performance. Flexibility does not exist as a general physical characteristic, but it is joint specific and joint action.
Up to 42% of your flexibility potential is in your fascia & 47% of your flexibility is locked up in your joint capsule.
Facial Stretch Therapy is truly the future of sports recovery! With the huge thanks to Cat McNab for
applying her outstanding range of knowledge in FST. My body has become more flexible, I’ve recovered
faster and more efficiently and she has discovered many weaknesses in my body since now we have
improved to prevent any possible injury.

What makes FST so different from traditional stretching, massage or Yoga?
FST sessions focus on multiple fascial lines while using traction to target the stiffness or compression in your joint capsule which then results in a release of surrounding tissues being released.
Fascial traction is an essential component that is used in FST which gets the joint capsule open by decompressing the joint and eliminates the jamming of joint while stretching. It creates optimal mobility of the joint capsule that dramatically helps the effectiveness of ROM increases and flexibility gains.
· Increases the level of relaxation.
· Increases the good endorphins.
· Reduces the pain levels during stretching.
· Releases adhesions in the joint capsule and other connective tissue.
· Traction allows for maximal lengthening of all the connective tissues from deep inside the joint capsule, ligaments, tendons, muscle tissue and all the connective tissue throughout the body.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a unique manual assisted technique that was created for athletes in 1995. It’s been used successfully at the Olympic, professional and collegiate levels.
